You may be familiar with our most popular, original illustration titled "A Black Americana." This painting, created in honor of Juneteenth, was a reimagining of American artist Grant Wood's iconic piece, American Gothic. Our version of the painting features a Black couple in contemporary high fashion with a 'rural' aesthetic and offers an alternative representation of Americana. Now, two years since its release, we've created a companion apparel piece, the "A Black Americana" Ringer Tee. The shirt was designed to reflect a classic and sporty Americana aesthetic, with inspiration from vintage photos of Alabama majorette attire.
